If you are finished on a project and you no longer want to renew the ticket, set the ticket as "Closed".
Note:
Closing a ticket does not update the Call Center at all, it’s only an 811spotter status change. A closed ticket will expire naturally on its expiration date.
Below are the steps to follow to close a ticket.
First select the ticket that you wish to close.
In the top right corner of ticket detail is a "Close" box. Click on the box.
A message appears confirming. then select save. If you are using the mobile app, it requires FIELD MODE to be disabled.
